Membership at Cross Point Church is your way of committing to the work God is doing in us and through us as a community of believers. We hope that as a member you will actively move from the sidelines and get into the game by strategically partnering through service and community groups.

Membership Participation

Every member will have the right to vote on the following matters: the annual budget of the Church, the affirmation of the Elder nominees, the disposition of all or substantially all of the assets of the Church, the merger or dissolution of the Church, and the calling or removing of the senior pastor. Each member who is 16 years old and older is entitled to one vote. Each member must be present at the given ministry meeting to cast a vote.

The Church will meet the first Wednesday of each December to approve its yearly budget and discuss any other matters of business. Cross Point Church has adopted an open-book policy regarding all financial matters.

The Process of Membership

  1. A personal profession of Christ as Lord and Savior.
  2. Baptism.
  3. Completion of the Discovering Cross Point Part1 and Part 2.
  4. Signing the membership agreement.
