Cross Point Office Holiday Calendar/Year-End Contributions

The Cross Point offices will be closed for the holidays from December 25th through January 1st. We will have our regularly scheduled Sunday service this Sunday, January 3rd. The offices will reopen on January 4th for regular operating hours. Please note that in order to receive a 2009 tax deduction for any year-end contributions, those year-end gifts must be postmarked by Thursday, December 31st.

Something New In Kidz World

Kidz World would love to implement a new LEADERSHIP ROOM! This would be a space for our teachers to hang out and have a snack and also for their children to have a place to stay during the hour they are not in their Kidz World classes. They would get to spend this hour having fun and socializing. If you are interested in helping with the design of this new room and/or hanging with the children during the 11:00 AM hour, please contact Leslie Hanson at leslie@crosspoint.tv.

Powered by Hope – Country Music ½ Marathon

Join us as we team up with area churches in the Country Music ½ Marathon on April 24th, 2010 to turn racial division, class segregation, and spiritual poverty into community, possibility, and vision. Training begins Saturday, January 16th, 2010. Runners and walkers of all levels welcome. Registration starts now at: www.WhatPowersYou.org.

FX

FX COMING SOON 01-10-10....Mark It Down!

FX (Family eXperience) LIVE is coming to this campus on 01-10-10 at 10:10 AM (between our two adult worship services) the first Sunday of every month. FX is a brand new Family Worship Service that will blow you away! This amazing ministry is designed for elementary aged kids and their entire families and will include drama, music, video and creative Bible story telling. We are pouring a ton of resources into this new monthly event and it will be an incredible interactive, high-energy, worshipful, fun and creative service where kids bring their parents to worship.

We want to improve the ways we partner with all of our families in an effort to create an incredible experience where kids and parents learn to commit to God, connect with one another and communicate the gospel - TOGETHER!

In the meantime, we have a ton of work to do before our launching date and would LOVE your help! Please contact Eve Annunziato at eve@crosspoint.tv if you want to get involved or have any questions. We can’t wait to watch all that God has in store for our families in 2010. This ministry is a high priority and we know how important it is to share the story of Christ with our families and to provide the tools they need to discuss the word of God at home together.

Charge United – Wednesday, January 6th

Charge United is coming to Dickson! On Wednesday, January 6th at 7:00 PM Cross Point Dickson will be hosting CHARGE UNITED! Don’t miss this great night of worship and teaching – as we gather alongside students from each of our campuses.

Sunday Student Gathering—Sunday, January 10th

Middle and high school students, join us Sunday, December 10th at 10:10 AM in the library for our Sunday Student Gathering, a time of fellowship and teaching!

Charge United Winter Get-Away – February 5th-7th

Middle and high school students - Mark your calendars and get ready for an exciting time in Gatlinburg. Registration and deposits are due by January 20th.

Bibles

Have a spare Bible collecting dust? Our Student Ministry is accepting donations of Bibles for its community group and teaching environments. Visit Connecting Points if you would like to contribute to this need
