Cross Point Office Holiday Calendar/Year-End Contributions

The Cross Point offices will be closed for the holidays from December 25th through January 1st. We will have our regularly scheduled Sunday service this Sunday, January 3rd. The offices will reopen on January 4th for regular operating hours. Please note that in order to receive a 2009 tax deduction for any year-end contributions, those year-end gifts must be postmarked by Thursday, December 31st.

Starting Point

Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet for about 10 weeks and together explore the grand story of the Bible. There will be a Starting Point orientation on Sunday, January 17th. Sign up this Sunday at the Community Groups table in the lobby. If you have any questions regarding Starting Point, please contact Kevin Cook at Kevin@crosspoint.tv.

Community Groups Leadership Rally

We are ready to start a brand new semester with our Community Groups at Cross Point! To get ready for the kick-off on January 24th, there will be a leadership rally on January 17th at 6pm at the Nashville campus. If you are currently leading a group or going to be starting a group, please plan on coming to hear our vision for Community Groups in 2010. If you are interested in leading or hosting a Community Group, please contact Kevin Cook at Kevin@crosspoint.tv.

On-line Giving

Simply go to www.crosspoint.tv, choose your campus (North) and click the online giving button on the main North campus page to make a one-time or recurring gift. If you would like offering envelopes to use on Sundays, they are available at Connecting Points.

Ministry Teams

Each Sunday morning requires a great deal of “behind the scenes” effort. On a weekly basis - men, women, and students have stepped forward to arrange and ready the high school for our Sunday services. We desire to build and strengthen each of our ministry teams. Areas of service include: production, First Impressions, Kidz World, logistics (set-up/tear down), music, and CHARGE ministries. You can stop by Connecting Points today and pick up more information regarding these ministry opportunities. If you would like to participate in one of these areas, please contact the appropriate coordinator:

  FX

FX

FX COMING SOON 01-10-10....Mark It Down!

FX (Family eXperience) LIVE is coming to this campus on 01-10-10 at 10:10 (Between our adult worship services) the first Sunday of every month in the cafeteria. FX is a brand new ministry that will be designed for elementary aged kids and their entire families and will include drama, music, video and creative Bible story telling. We are pouring a ton of resources into this new monthly event and it will be an even more interactive, high-energy, worshipful, fun and creative service where kids bring their parents to worship.

We want to improve the ways we partner with all of our families in an effort to create an amazing event where kids and parents learn to commit to God, connect with one another and communicate the gospel - TOGETHER!

In the meantime, please contact Eve at eve@crosspoint.tv if you want to get involved or have any questions. We can’t wait to watch all that God has in store for our families in 2010. This ministry is a high priority and we know how important it is to share the story of Christ with our families and to provide the tools you need to discuss the word of God at home, together.
